stupid john. i mean, i understand where he's coming from but its not all about him! i called him up, explained, apologised, and offered to make it up to him but he was being all childish about it... saying "its your loss not mine" etc. then after he comes on msn and keeps the arguement going. to him, its as if im choosing the church frens over him. and from his POV, if i could miss a day of schoolies just to go for the maths dinner last week, why can't i do the same this week?!

because the situation is different.

and i have no transport to get to the house except by taking a train and then a cab since the buses dont work on sundays and mark isnt too keen on giving me a lift. i mean, if john were the driver who had to give me a lift to the station last week, then its understandable. but he wasn't. all he did was to give simple directions... and its not like he missed out on anything either.

he said he'd never forgive me if i missed his party, and that it was a matter of principles. putting it simply if i dont go to his party i dont have principles, which is just stupid!

so right now i have 2 options yet again:

1. please everyone by going for john's party, taking a train then cab the next day and that'll cost me so much
2. not go to his party, probably offend his and a few other guys but go with everyone else to schoolies

im really tempted to go number 2, but then i'd have to see all of them again for ian and kate's party, and the formal. ian's being ...... by saying he doesnt' want to get involved when he's only heard john's side of the story!

all this is soooo annoying and it doesnt help that i'm getting sick too. had a sore throat last nite, prayed real hard about it and i think God gave me a condensed version of the flu, ie, blocked nose, fever and sore throat over 2 days instead of a week... but i feel horrible either way and the issue with john still isnt resolved yet!
